Privacy & recruitment

We use the information you submit to manage your candidate profile or recruitment request, assess relevant introductions and communicate with you. Registration does not guarantee employment. There are no candidate registration fees.

Private by default

Your profile and files are accessible to you and authorised platform staff. No public candidate directory is available. We will request your agreement before sharing your profile with an employer. We do not sell identity documents or use them for advertising.

Control and retention

You may update or delete your profile in your account. We retain active recruitment records for up to 12 months after the last update, then remove them. Encrypted backups are retained for up to 30 days. Contact the operator for access, correction, export or deletion requests. You may also contact the Hellenic Data Protection Authority.

Documents and matching

CV terms are highlighted using text extraction, not a verification of competence. Candidates review their own descriptions. We do not automatically reject candidates or verify identity or work eligibility with AI. Permission to work must be checked for the country, position and vessel concerned.

Identity check

Identity verification is optional during preview. When you choose it, Didit processes your identity document and biometric checks under its privacy notice. We retain only the session reference, consent record and check statuses. Identity approval does not establish work eligibility or verify your CV. Contact the operator for provider-record deletion requests; deleting your platform account does not automatically delete records held by Didit.

Cookies

We use an essential seven-day login cookie and store your language preference on your device. There are no advertising trackers. Data is hosted on our European server; limited access logs are used for security. This site is hosted at crewmein.com.
